Mathias Davis Cemetery

Though I had known about the Mathias Davis Cemetery for many years, I had never transcribed it.  The cemetery is located on part of the land given to Mathias in a land grant.  Mathias died September 8, 1864.







Elizabeth  Davis is the daughter of Mathias and Mary Records Davis. Elizabeth was born about 1838 in Pendleton County and died March 30, 1854 in Pendleton at the age of 16 years, 2 months, and 8 days.








J. A. Ware (Joshua Allen) married Mathias' daughter, Mary Jane, October 7, 1855 in Pendleton County, Kentucky.  He was born July 29, 1832 and died July 30, 1866.









Joshua Allen Ware died April 29, 1868 at the age of 11 months and 4 days.
