              This photo noted to have been taken in 1967 is of Nelle (Blackburn) Collins and her husband, John Henry Collins.  John died 19 Feb 1968 in Cincinnati, Hamilton, OH.

Nelle and John married in Hamilton County, OH on 17 July 1920. I have not been able to locate where they may have been buried.

Concord Methodist Church

Isaac Boughner, son of Abishia Boughner and Nancy (Riley) Boughner

Isaac Boughner- a son of Abishia Boughner and Nancy Riley (married in Bracken County, KY on 2 March 1821) - published obituary 15 June 1887 in Daily Evening Bulletin of Mason County, KY. 

Another news article about Isaac dated 30 April 1884, mentions that he is the brother of Peter Boughner.  (same newspaper as above.)

Isaac's funeral notice of 16 June 1887 states that among the floral tributes was a pilot wheel, made of rare flowers, presented by the crew of the Bonanza.

Abishia was born 1801 in Pennsylvania, while Nancy was born in Maryland about that same year.  Nancy was a daughter of Isaac Riley.  

The known children of Abishia and Nancy:
William - born about 1824
Peter - born about 1826
Mary - born about 1831
Henry - born about 1833
Isaac - shown above
John, born in 1836
Vachel - born about 1839
Richard - born about 1834

Nancy is a widow by 1860 and living in Augusta, Bracken, KY with Henry, Vachel and Richard remaining at home.

Isaac married Mary Eliza (or Mary Elizabeth, depending on the record) McClanahan in Mason County, Kentucky on 9 March 1857.

Mary (McClanahan) Boughner, born in Kentucky, died 28 January 1898.



Most of the Boughner family is buried in the Maysville Cemetery, Mason, Kentucky.

The Fryer house in Butler, Pendleton County, Kentucky will be open for research on the first and third Tuesday of each month from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m.
