Isaac Boughner- a son of Abishia Boughner and Nancy Riley (married in Bracken County, KY on 2 March 1821) - published obituary 15 June 1887 in Daily Evening Bulletin of Mason County, KY.

Another news article about Isaac dated 30 April 1884, mentions that he is the brother of Peter Boughner.  (same newspaper as above.)

Isaac's funeral notice of 16 June 1887 states that among the floral tributes was a pilot wheel, made of rare flowers, presented by the crew of the Bonanza.

McGill Cemetery

While researching the Sharp-McGill connections in my family I learned a farm at Lenoxburg was once part of the Anthony McGill property.  I know the lady who owns the farm now and she knew exactly where the cemetery is located and took me to visit it. She also told me that when she and her husband bought the farm there were other stones here and she doesn't know what happened to them.

Andrew Hannah died April 12,1863.  Aged 59 years 7 months 13 days  He married Martha J. Houston August 9, 1828 in Brown County, Ohio.

Part of an unknown stone.  I couldn't find any other pieces for a better clue.

Thornton Hannah was the son of Andrew and Martha J. Hannah.  He was born September 27, 1836 and died May 19, 1864.

Thornton was a member of Company A, 5 Ohio Calvary.

Nancy Mathews died December 4, 183? Aged 32 years

Mathias Davis Cemetery

Though I had known about the Mathias Davis Cemetery for many years, I had never transcribed it.  The cemetery is located on part of the land given to Mathias in a land grant.  Mathias died September 8, 1864.

Elizabeth  Davis is the daughter of Mathias and Mary Records Davis. Elizabeth was born about 1838 in Pendleton County and died March 30, 1854 in Pendleton at the age of 16 years, 2 months, and 8 days.

J. A. Ware (Joshua Allen) married Mathias' daughter, Mary Jane, October 7, 1855 in Pendleton County, Kentucky.  He was born July 29, 1832 and died July 30, 1866.

Joshua Allen Ware died April 29, 1868 at the age of 11 months and 4 days.

Elizabeth Seever

A friend and I went to the Flemingsburg courthouse looking for the Plummer family and any information we could use to tie my Plummer family in Fleming County with her Plummer family in Pendleton County.  Not sure we've made that connection yet, but did find a marriage bond for one of my Seever family.
