John Hamilton Barker, born in 1781 in Virginia, was twice married. His first wife was Sarah DeMoss, who was born in Berkeley County, Virginia on 24 June 1789. They married 18 June 1806 in Pendleton County, Kentucky and were the parents of at least 8 children. Sarah died 27 July 1837.
John then married Catherine Bogle on 16 March 1838, also in Pendleton County. They were the parents of six children. John died 19 June 1854. Catherine, who was born in Kentucky, lived until 18 October 1886.

What a sight! Sarah's headstone sure is SPOOKY! Ranks up there in probably the top 3 of unique headstones for me.
