This was an absolutely gorgeous day in Northeastern Kentucky. The temperature in the high 70's and it felt wonderful.
Ulrich Brennenstuhl was born 16 December 1818 in Weil im Schonbuch, Boblingen,Wurttemberg. Rosina Laubengaier was born 20 April 1830 in Waldenbuch, Stuttgart, Wurttemberg. They arrived at the Port of New York on 22 December 1856 on a ship named, Plymouth Rock. Their port of departure was London, England. They were not married at the time of their arrival at New York. Rosina is shown as a spinster. Ulrich is shown as an "ostler."
Their marriage record has not been found thus far. These are their known children: Joana Barbara; Fredricka; Christian Heinrich; Mary Catherine; Minnie Rose; Marie, William, Catherine and John William. The 2 oldest were probably born in Ohio, census records show different information at times. The other children were born in Pendleton Co., KY.
Ulrich died 18 August 1893. Rosina (sometimes shown as Rosa) died on 5 May 1904. They are buried at the Peach Grove Cemetery in Pendleton County.
More information is available on some of these children, namely, Joana Barbara; Fredricka; Christian; Mary Catherine; Minnie Rose; Catherine and John William.
